Indonesia is a nation comprised of thousands of islands in southeast Asia. It is bordered by Papua New Guinea, the South China Sea and the Indian Ocean. Indonesia was inhabited by "Java Man" Between 1.5 million years and 35,000 years ago. The national tree of Indonesia is the banyan. The national bird is the Javan eagle-hawk.
