Description
A handmade, fair trade nativity scene from Nepal nestled in a solid glass apothecary jar. The jar measures 5.25 inches h x 2.5 inches in diameter.
Handmade felt components are created and assembled by skilled Nepalese artisans working in a fair trade production center in Kathmandu, Nepal. Made with sustainably harvested materials including wool, hemp, glass and cork. Excess water from production is drained into a neighboring garden for growing food. Artisans use 100% natural wool and non-toxic, azo-free dyes. Wool scraps are recycled into new products.
This Nativity set was acquired through a Fair Trade organization. Fair trade pays impoverished artisans a fair price for their work and puts people first, not profits.

Nativity Scene in Jar from Nepal
This is a wonderful nativity--made from wool with details. I would have bought a second one for a gift, but find the cost prohibitive. Beautiful! This will stay out all year!
