The nativity figures are formed from white beans, with hand-painted faces that give each character sweet personality. Mary and Joseph wear robes made from fragrant eucalyptus pods, and Baby Jesus rests peacefully, swaddled in soft corn husks. Surrounding them, carefully arranged pumpkin seeds form a delicate floral-like base, all set atop a walnut shell pedestal.
