Nestled within a hand-woven basket is this cherrful masapán nativity scene.  Masapán (pronounced MAH-ze-pahn) is bread dough and is traditionally used in Ecuador by local artisans. This product is entirely made by hand in small villages and there can be variations in the design, making each one unique!

This masapán nativity comes to us from a fair trade organization that works directly with the artisans, putting people before profits.

This tiny nativity is soooo cute. It’s a miniature, but has all the elements in it. I really love it. It’s a piece of art. Thank you!
