This Nativity was sculpted by request of the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. It replicates a stone carving of the Holy Family found high in the Washington cathedral ceiling. George Carruth (the nativity sculptor) was the first stone carver to exhibit his art in the Cathedral in DC.
Created by American sculptor George Carruth, this nativity is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. It is hand-cast in stone and the hanging wire is securely embedded in the back. Made in the USA.

Washington National Cathedral Nativity
I have been looking at this nativity for several years, and finally purchased it. Love the intimate portrayal of the Holy Family, and their connection. It is heavier than I anticipated.
