Description
The regal costuming of the wisemen and the African animals make this a truly unique nativity set. The wisemen are represented by the real life kings of the nation of Lesotho.
- King Moshoeshoe I (seated with a headdress and printed cape) became Paramount Chiefs of Basutoland in 1820 in what is now present day Lesotho.
- King Letsie I (wearing a Mokorotlo, a hat that is the national symbol of Lesotho, and animal print cape) became Paramount Chiefs of Basutoland (present day Lesotho) in 1870 following Moshoeshoe I
- King Lerotholi (wrapped in faux animal hide) became Paramount Chiefs of Basutoland in 1891 in what is now present day Lesotho.

Hand made in the Kingdom of Lesotho by craft artisans who are paid a fair price for the work and are able to support their families through their dedication to their craft.
Joseph stands 6 inches tall. The nativity figures are made from Merino wool and the wiseman and shepherd's hats are hand woven.

Some of the figures in this set can be a little wobbly, but with just a little bit of attention will stand up nice and straight.
There is some color variations in the solid colors of this nativity set, which makes every one unique.
