The "Baulotto" storage series is characterized by a rigid cardboard laminated in thin plastic that allows it to be water resistant and easily cleaned.
Nativity storage box is made in Italy.
When assembled, the box measures 13.75" X 19.5" X 10" and can store up to 132 pounds of items, and withstand over 240 pounds of pressure if other boxes are stacked on top.
This storage box is easily assembled and has metal rivets already in place. Carry handles are made from sturdy plastic.

Beautiful and sleek
Very happy with this. Wasn't sure what to expect but pleased when I got it. It's not quite like any other storage boxes I've seen and is good for my nativity set.

Cardboard box
If there is any plastic at all in this box ( it is described as being characterized by plastic.) then there is a little in the paint which is coating this cardboard box. With shipping I paid about $48 for a painted cardboard box. I would have returned it but I removed the cellophane and assembled it, and by accident bumped into the corner of a dresser while carrying it and poked a hole in it because it is not plastic. It does have plastic handles and looks great but it is not protective against moisture or bumps.
